Primary Sources: I start with firsthand accounts by conducting interviews with key figures in the automotive and motorsport industries, including engineers, drivers, team managers, and designers. These conversations provide invaluable insights and anecdotes that you can’t find in secondary sources.

Archival Research: I delve into historical archives, including old race reports, engineering documents, and vintage car magazines. Museums and automotive libraries are goldmines for uncovering the rich history and evolution of the industry.

Technical Analysis: Understanding the technical side of automotive engineering is crucial. I study technical papers, engineering manuals, and workshop guides to ensure that my explanations of vehicle mechanics and innovations are accurate and detailed.

Events and Races: Attending live races, car shows, and automotive exhibitions allows me to observe the latest trends, technologies, and industry dynamics. It also provides opportunities to speak directly with industry experts and enthusiasts.

Books and Journals: I read extensively from existing literature, including biographies, technical journals, and previous works on automotive history. This helps me understand the context and background of my topics.

Books Worth Reading:

Digital Resources: Online databases, forums, and digital archives are excellent for quick references and contemporary updates. Websites dedicated to automotive history and motorsport statistics are also very useful.

Collaboration: I collaborate with other authors, historians, and technical experts to verify facts and gain different perspectives. Peer reviews and discussions often lead to deeper insights and corrections.

Hands-On Experience: Whenever possible, I engage in hands-on activities such as driving classic cars, participating in restoration projects, or even working in garages. This practical experience adds a layer of authenticity and depth to my writing.

Field Research: Visiting significant automotive and motorsport sites, such as famous race tracks, manufacturing plants, and automotive museums, helps me gather material that enriches my narratives.

By combining these methods, I strive to create books that are not only informative and accurate but also engaging and inspiring for my readers. The goal is to bring the passion and excitement of the automotive and motorsport world to life on the page.
